From Radio Kerry:
The South West Counselling Centre is holding an open day today. The Killarney facility is marking the 10th anniversary of World Suicide Prevention Day. It offers free suicide prevention counselling and a service to those who have been bereaved by suicide.
Members of the public who want to find out more about the centre or are concerned about someone are being encouraged to drop into the facility today.
Counsellor with the South West Counselling Centre, Edel Hobbert, says suicide remains a taboo subject that needs to be spoken about more.
